Cycling Again

We have been going to the Herne Hill Velodrome for a few months now and have seen great improvements all round in co-ordination, concentration and self-confidence.

Andy has always been very nervous of all the cycles but gradually he is overcoming his fears and today he pushed a tricycle about and then eventually sat on it for a few seconds to huge applause from all the Velodrome workers. Andy was really pleased with himself.

We had a picnic in the park and then made some artwork about cycling at the Velodrome.

Crystal Palace Dinosaur Park

We went to see the dinosaurs in Crystal Palace park today.

Today we bought our dinosaur book with us. We can't go without it.

The dinosaurs were enormous , they are not real.

We went round the park on the other side. We saw a horse and a special kind of deer there. These are not real at all.

And then we went round a track round the area and we found a café there.
I had a really lovely day.

Before we went to the train station we went to a charity shop to look around. We saw some clothes what Dot Cotton would wear. And there was an old green jacket that Sue Barker wore when she was commentating for Wimbledon and I saw some Victorian earrings near the park.
And we got a magnetic dart board. Blue got it with some poker cards.

We saw some prehistoric dinosaurs when we got to the park. Nice dinosaurs. These dinosaurs weren't moving - one had his jaw open. One was like a crocodile.

We walked over a bridge and saw a crocodile-dina.

We saw some pigs-  dinopigs.  Then we saw a dinomouse.

We saw some deers - Dinoreindeer that help  Santa Claus in Christmas time in Australia.

Then we went to a cafe afterwards to have some
food to eat. We sat down in some chairs outside. It was a nice day - it was sunny. And we enjoyed it didn't we? We saw someone from Eastenders  down there . That girl had a baby didn't she? She played a teenage girl.

The new staff

Last week it was Jess's last day and we said goodbye to her and gave her a farewell present of some pictures of us so she can take it wherever she wants it. I gave Jess a farewell card specially for her last day.

All four of us Robin Blue Eddie and Daniel Reid interviewed two new people - two ladies - one is called Ellen and one is Anna. Ellen can be part of Saturday group and Anna can be part of 19Plus staff.

Anna is very nice and very polite. Ellen as well  she's very polite and a very sensible person.

visit to treasure island

We went to Treasure Island the show at National Theatre.
My mum did come her name is Viv.
It was about pirates, Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver.
I saw a really big ship.
I know who played Jim Hawkins - Patsy Ferrin.
I know who played Long John Silver - Arthur Dirill.
I liked the parrot on Long John Silver's shoulder called Captain Flint
He kept saying PIECES OF EIGHT! PIECES OF EIGHT!!
Then we had sandwiches and water at the National Theatre. We went to the Olivier Theatre and took our seats and the show started. The lights went off and then the lights went on that stage and we saw Jim Hawkins.
It was Andy O's birthday and we got ourselves a bus back to Cambridge House.

A La Westminster Cathedral!

We walked under that bridge, passed through Camberwell New Road, catched our bus at the Oval. We got the 381 to Victoria and got off near Victoria Station and then we walked to the Cathedral.

We went up the stairs and opened the door and went inside and we saw a ceiling when we looked up with angels and wings and they were swimming and there was a god. And it was a picture of heaven. And I saw the font.

And I went downstairs into the basement and then we had lunch in the café in the basement. We went round the church afterwards and we saw some pictures of a man swimming and angels with wings and the candles. I lighted a candle for Gary so I can remember him, 'cause I miss him and its really sad.

And then on the way out we went to the gift shop and bought a postcard of the font. and then we opened the door again and went down the steps to catch the bus.

And we saw a picture of a priest a la Pope. And a picture of people praying and then we saw an old picture of an old pastor; "Le Pastoral". And le Pope Jean Paula. The Vicar's name was A la Reece someone.
